Pro's playing advice
The tee shot on this hole is slightly blind, due to a steep rise 50 yards from the tee. At 257 yards where the hole turns slightly to the left, there is a ditch which runs to the edge of each side of the fairway. The fairway slopes from right to left, and is protected at 250 yards by a large oak on the left hand side. The green slopes strongly from left to right, and is guarded by bunkers on either side. A very tricky green to get on, and then just as hard to putt on.The longest par 4 on the course. Has a semi-blind tee shot to a gently sloping fairway. This hole usually played into the prevailing wind demands two well struck shots to find the green. Most players however will require 3 shots and the approach shot is played to green which slopes heavily left to right. Even the shortest putt on this green requires your full attention.
