Cheese & Wine Night - Wednesday 15th October

Indulge in an unforgettable evening of flavour at our Cheese & Wine Night on Wednesday 15th October! For just £19.50 per person, enjoy a carefully curated selection of delicious cheese perfectly paired with wines from Arkells Brewery. Doors open at 18:30 for a 19:00 start.

The evening will be hosted by Richard Bailey from Arkells Grape & Grain, with additional insights from Johnny Bingham of Delibo Wine Agencies, making it the perfect opportunity to expand your wine knowledge. To top it all off, you’ll get the chance to test your knowledge in a fun quiz!

Sip & Paint Workshop - Wednesday 22nd October

Set against our beautiful countryside backdrop, this event invites you to explore your artistic side while enjoying a drink in great company. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned artist, our friendly, skilled instructor will guide you step-by-step as you create your very own masterpiece. Each session is designed to be fun, welcoming, and pressure-free—perfect for a night out with friends, a date, or even some well-earned solo time.

Quiz Night - Wednesday 29th October - FULLY BOOKED 

Our popular Quiz Night is back! Gather your team and join us for an evening of fun, food, and friendly competition... with a Halloween Twist! 

• Date: Wednesday 29th October
• Time: Food available between 17:30 - 19:15. Quiz starts at 19:30
• Team Size: Maximum of 6 people per team
• Cost: £3 per person (quiz only) or £15.50 per person (includes quiz and meal)

Meal: Sausage, Mash, Peas and Red Wine Gravy (we are also able to cater for those with dietary requirements and allergens - please make our team aware of these when booking) 

Prizes & Charity:

• 50% of entry fees will be donated to The Prospect Hospice
• The remaining 50% goes to the winning team!
• Prize for Best Dressed (Halloween!)

Christmas Market 

We’re delighted to announce the return of our much-loved Christmas Market at Basset Down and this year it’s bigger than ever! Due to high demand, the event will take place across two dates this year. More details coming soon, but for now, be sure to pop the below dates and times in your diaries!
