A bit about us!

Basset Down Complex is close to Junction 16 M4, Swindon. Family run with a fun, hardworking team delivering excellent food and customer service in an amazing setting Located just minutes off J16 M4 (between Bath and Reading). Sitting between Royal Wootton Bassett, Swindon, and Marlborough. During 2021 we expanded our facilities adding two beautiful function rooms, a large contemporary, ‘country feel’ restaurant, bar, and multiple lounge areas offering family meals, drinks with friends, relaxed brunches, lunches, and suppers. We also have a large south facing balcony and patio areas.

Experienced Casual Event Staff - Various positions available

Our family run site is now in its 20th year, and our new extension has been extremely well received. We host all manner of celebratory and corporate events in our wonderful function rooms (up to 200 in one and 40 in the other). With a contemporary/rustic high spec finish, this cedar clad, vaulted roof building certainly has the ‘wow’ factor.

The Role

As we continue to grow and our event bookings increase, we need to expand our team of experienced Events Staff. You will help us deliver high quality service to our lovely guests at all manner of events from Private dining to Birthday parties, Weddings to Corporate Events, Christmas Parties and everything else in between.

This role is customer facing, fast paced, demands a love of the job and a ‘can do’ attitude. From laying up, working at and clearing down events you will be part of a team working to ensure our clients have a very special experience here at Basset Down Complex. General duties to include waiting at tables, replenishing the buffet, hosting arrival drinks and canapes and serving at the bar.
