June Bowmaker – Another Successful Mixed Competition!
What a fantastic day for golf - warm and dry conditions provided the ideal setting for our Mixed Bowmaker competition. A huge thank you to the 21 members (7 teams) who took part. It was a closely fought contest, with excellent scoring across the board. In fact, the top two teams tied on points, with the winners narrowly edging it on countback!
Congratulations to our winning trio:
Peter Hancock, Malcolm Baker, and Stuart Hinder – First place with a superb score of 46.
Right behind them on countback were:
Jennifer Cable, Mark Cable, and Peter Sanders – Also finishing with 46 points.
In third place:
Val Stockley, Susan Jewell, and Caroline Symmons – Another fantastic performance with 44 points.
Well done to all teams for some outstanding golf and brilliant teamwork. We’re already looking forward to the next event, which will be a Mixed Walz on 31st July —hope to see you all there!
