Friendly Matches & Away Games
The Ladies enjoyed their first friendly match of the season at Oaksey yesterday. It was a closely contested game, however the final result saw the Oaksey Ladies secure a 3–1 win – well done to all involved.
Don’t forget to keep an eye on the Ladies’ noticeboard for updates on upcoming friendlies and away days.
Women’s Golf Day Competition – Monday 2nd June
We’re thrilled to announce our charity Women’s Golf Day competition – a fun and social 9-hole Texas Scramble! Here's what to expect:
- Format: 9-hole Texas Scramble (non-acceptable scoring)
- Entry Fee: £3.00 (donated entirely to local breast cancer charity, Aurora)
- Team & Tee Times: Drawn the day after the closing date
- Eligibility: Open to members with handicaps
- Charity Extras on the Day:
Charity Clothes Swap – Back by popular demand! Bring any golf clothing or accessories you no longer need and pick up something new. Simply make a donation to charity for any items you would like to take home
Cake Stand – we’d love your help making the cake stand a success! If you’re bringing a baked treat, please email clubhouse@basset-down.com with the word “CAKE” so we can plan ahead.
