Senior Match report

Basset Down’s Senior Team started their season with an away match at Whitley Golf Club. Unfortunately the result was a win for the home team by 4 matches to 2. Despite the result, there were many close matches with Basset Down pairs being on the wrong side of 2 & 1 results. The second match of the season was another away match, this time at Deanwood Park Golf Club. This has always been a difficult place for Basset Down to win, however following last year's success Basset Down won the overall match by 4 matches to 1. The performance of the day was by Bryan Stockwell and Dave Ingram who came in with an outstanding win of 8 & 6. The next Senior Match is at home to Oaksey Park on the 1st May.
